*A brief note on my work: I try to capture the shape of the human-made world as seen through my eyes. While I aim to tell human or human-influenced stories, I consciously avoid directly portraying people (except when I have their consent) in a visibly recognizable way or making them the sole focus of my photography. This choice stems from a personal ethical commitment to not appropriate someone’s presence or story without their consent, and avoiding the exploitation or exoticization of people in their context.
